Terms of use

Short version: list real products, be decent to other tenants, and remember that coins buy visibility, never reputation. These terms apply to everyone who uses saasmall.fun. Buying MallCoins is covered by the terms of sale.

1. The service

SaaSMall is a directory of software products shown as a shopping mall. Visitors browse, upvote and review stores; founders list their products and can buy visibility with MallCoins. Browsing is free and needs no account.

2. Accounts

You sign in with an email link, Google or GitHub. One person, one account. You must be at least 15 (the age of digital consent in France); to buy MallCoins, you must be an adult or have a parent's permission.
You are responsible for what is done with your account. Tell us at hello@saasmall.fun if you think someone else is using it.
You can ask us to delete your account at any time (see the privacy policy).

3. Stores

A store must present a real software product that you own or are allowed to represent, with accurate information.
Not allowed: misleading claims, counterfeit or illegal products, adult content, malware, spam or affiliate pages with no product of their own.
You keep the rights to your name, logo, screenshots and texts, and allow us to show them on SaaSMall (including in screenshots of the site, the newsletter and social posts about the mall) for as long as the store is listed.
New stores may be reviewed before they appear. We can hide or remove a store that breaks these rules.

4. Upvotes and reviews

One upvote per account per store. Upvotes and the Atrium are never for sale: they are earned only.
Buying, trading, automating or swapping upvotes, multiple accounts, and fake or paid reviews are forbidden. They lead to the store being hidden and the accounts closed, without refund of unspent coins used to cheat.
Reviews must be honest and about the product. No insults, personal data of others, or illegal content.

5. Boosts and paid placements

Boosts, leased storefronts and the Fountain buy visibility on the site, not a ranking: they never change upvotes, reviews or the Atrium.
What you put in a boost (announcements, flash sale text, images) is shown to every visitor. It must be legal, honest, and safe for work. We can stop a boost that breaks this rule; the coins are then not refunded.
Visitors may turn effects off with Calm mode; we do not guarantee a number of views or clicks.

6. Moderation

We can hide content, stop a boost, suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law. Except in urgent or obvious cases, we tell you why and you can answer at hello@saasmall.fun.

7. Availability and liability

We do our best to keep the mall open at all times but cannot guarantee it. If a paid boost cannot run because of an outage on our side, its coins are credited back. Founders are responsible for their products and the content of their stores; SaaSMall does not sell or guarantee the products listed. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes are announced on the site or by email before they apply.

9. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In case of a problem, write to hello@saasmall.fun first: most issues are solved that way. Otherwise, the competent courts are determined by law; consumers may also use the mediation described in the terms of sale.
